The Situation

Large Country Club with wide range of member activities and amenities
including golf, fitness, pool, tennis, spa, restaurants, banquets, hair salon.

  • Over $220k spent annually on outsourced laundry services.
  • Two different suppliers - one for landscape maintenance (uniforms, towels) and one for club and serves (linen, kitchen, towels, sheets)
  • Both agreements had rolled over & had 2 years left on each of them.
  • There had been management turnover at the GM and F&B positions.
  • CFO had invested a good amount of time in meeting with the two vendors multiple times, but kept getting the run around on overall costs, billing, quality, customer service response, program reporting and steps to improve/fix problems.

LG Process

The Laundry Guy went to work and did a full audit of the existing contracts and invoicing for every line item of all departments. Based on the size and complexity of the account, TLG did an onsite audit of all departments and met with the management team and staff. TLG reviewed all pick-up and delivery areas and inspected the quality of the products being delivered. TLG compiled all of the results with projected savings for the Initial Analysis and Strategy Meeting. Client selected the strategy to move forward to achieve the best pricing, terms, service communication and quality.
